ICLT celebrated our 7th anniversary in January 2024! We were amazed and inspired by the turnout, the passionate youth, and the energized crowd—ready to drive change in our community. We reflected on our impactful political and community achievements over the last seven years and outlined ambitious goals for 2024.

WHO WE ARE
We are the Charlotte Area Hub for Civic activism. Originally called Indivisible NC District 9 (ID9), our membership started as constituents from the NC 9th Congressional District. Since 2017 we have grown to not only encompass the Charlotte area, but have members from across the state and across the country. In 2023 we changed our name to Indivisible Charlotte to reflect our regional activism.
WHAT WE DO
We believe that Democracy is Not a Spectator Sport. Our power is rooted in ACTION; creating opportunities for folks to get involved in their community, while strategically building political infrastructure.
We organize and engage community by having valuable conversations with voters through deep canvassing, hosting town halls and issue-based educational panels, protesting breeches of our democracy and holding our representatives accountable.
GOALS
National: Using our resources and collective voices we will push legislation in Congress which restores democracy through Education, Voter Engagement, and Congressional Accountability.
State/Local: Cultivate and strengthen voter relationships, understand local needs, build enthusiasm and remove barriers to civic participation using proven methods of voter engagement and data.
