TAKE ACTION

CANVASSING

One of the most effective ways to turn out voters. We knock doors year round in strategic areas to reach left-leaning registered neighbors, listen first, and share what matters. It is democracy in its most basic form, and it is surprisingly fun. We train and canvass in pairs with experienced partners.

We host big Uptown rallies, neighborhood pop-ups, and targeted actions at specific businesses and elected representatives’ offices. Our protests build community, put a face to our advocacy, and keep safety at the forefront.

PROTESTS & VISIBILITY ACTIONS

POSTCARD WRITING

We write postcards individually and in fun group gatherings with like-minded people. Our postcard efforts are mostly focused on getting out the vote, but we also take on specific issues and candidates that align with our strategy.

PHONE BANKING

ICLT uses phone banking to connect with voters, recruit volunteers, and invite folks to events. It is easy to do from home, and even more fun with a team.

EVERY CALL COUNTS

Use Every Call Counts to make quick weekly calls to your state and federal legislators on urgent issues. It uses the 5 Calls platform plus local scripts created by our team. Names, numbers, emails, and talking points are provided, and you can do it anytime.

MUTUAL AID

Join ICLT’s mutual aid network supporting immigrant, Black and Brown, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Help meet real needs through supply drives, resource sharing, or stepping in to support community events when needed.

JOIN A GROUP

YOUNG VOICES

For younger activists, roughly 35 and under. Join monthly gatherings to meet new friends, find your lane, and put your talents to use where they matter most.

RAGING GRANNIES

This is part of an international movement, and we are excited to have launched a new local group. We sing political parodies at protests and public events. If you can carry a tune, you can join. Women and men of any age welcome.
