These targeted joint canvasses are vital to the success of both candidates and OUR ENTIRE STATE. Every door you knock and every voter you engage brings us one step closer to victory and dismantling our stifling GOP supermajority!
From October 12 through the election these canvasses will include distribution of the “BLUE ballot” -the whole Dem ticket!

Each Early Voting location will have a table with the Blue Ballot and candidate information. We need volunteers to man those tables.
Peggy Dickerson with Meck Dems schedules volunteers for all Early Voting and Election Day polling sites in Mecklenburg.

**Poll Greeter - Poll Greeters are volunteers who work outside the polling place during Early Voting and on Election Day (in precincts where greeting is allowed). Greeters offer our Blue Ballot cards to voters as they arrive on site, and encourage them to vote all the way down the ballot for our good Democratic candidates. Greeters typically wear our MeckDems t-shirts so they are recognized as Dems. We do not, however, wear political attire when going inside the polling place, so poll greeters should bring a shirt or sweater to put over their t-shirt when going inside to the restroom or to interact with poll staff.

Make calls during early voting to people of color in Mecklenburg County who do not vote regularly. This is the fastest way to cover the most ground and can be done right from the comfort of your own home! Once you sign up you are given access to the phonebank and make calls at your convenience. You are able to leave voice messages when there is no answer.

Come register voters with us in underserved areas of Mecklenburg County. Increasing progressive voter turnout in Meck County by 10% is what’s needed to swing NC blue! Speaking to potential voters who fall off traditional radars is how we do that! Canvassers will speak to voters in pairs. Training and supplies provided. Organizer will be in touch prior to the event with training location and other details.

Join the TakeOff Movement Sunday, Sept. 29th at 10am
Sanctuary Church 800 Culp Rd. Pineville
The Takeoff Movement, a subgroup of ICLT, is a voter education and mobilization for Gen Z and millennials with a focus on West Charlotte led by Jordan Braswell and Treyvon Edmonds, mentored by Shamaiye Haynes. The group will host a range of activities including direct access to local politicians, Civics 101 classes, and voter registration drives at predominantly Black high schools and colleges.
Do you want to help engage voters in HD105, but would rather not talk to them? Indivisible CLT has the solution - leave our anti-Cotham literature at targeted voters' doors when it works for you!
Based on the data, we have specific precinct targets where we want to talk to voters directly. Other precincts or targets that don’t lend themselves to door-knocking - we will leave our targeted literature. We need your help!
Join ICLT for a night that includes talking to each other and also talking to voters! You choose your own adventure and join other like-minded folks for an evening that will have a positive impact on our community- specifically HD105! Those who choose to canvass can join the social after.
