EVENT: Canvassing & Voter Engagement in Tricia Cotham’s HD105

Indivisible Charlotte, utilizing data-driven strategies, is organizing essential electoral initiatives in NC HD105 - Tricia Cotham's district. This is a pivotal district that we MUST turn blue to prevent the NCGA from holding a supermajority. We are capitalizing on the anger expressed by voters in her district and voters across the state who have lost freedoms as a result of her party switch. We need your help.

The Border & Immigration: Setting the Record Straight

By ICLT member, Marshal Auron

America has long been a key destination for  those seeking a better life. Although immigration has sometimes led to political and economic strains on our nation, it has reaped tremendous long-term benefits for the US as we have become a multicultural, global political and economic powerhouse. The US is currently facing another period of increased immigration.

The Republican answer is to reject a Bipartisan proposal that could address the issue and continue to advocate for a reprehensible “Border Wall” that they failed to build during the Trump Administration.

Event: ICLT Hot Spot Voter Registration/Education

Hot spot registration/education is essentially canvassing from one spot! Through the use of a fun spin to win game, we engage with potential voters about issues that matter to them, provide civics education on how their vote affects that issue, and register them to vote if needed.

Come register CPCC-Matthews students to vote in this year’s election! We will set up on the first day of their 4th session, next Monday, April 8 from 10:30-1:00 and again on Thursday, April 18 from 10:30-1:00.
