The Takeoff Movement, a subgroup of ICLT, is a voter education and mobilization for Gen Z and millennials with a focus on West Charlotte led by Jordan Braswell and Treyvon Edmonds, mentored by Shamaiye Haynes. The group will host a range of activities including direct access to local politicians, Civics 101 classes, and voter registration drives at predominantly Black high schools and colleges.
