The ever-changing nature of our political landscape requires our activists to not only hone their particular space of engagement, but to also understand the interconnected roads that lead to the collective goal of protecting our democracy.

Please join our 3 groups, the Takeoff Movement, CLT Engage, and Indivisible CLT for a short training followed by a group discussion with facilitator Lexi Coburn, in our shared efforts to further prepare for community outreach.

We strongly encourage you to bring all your questions regarding skill-sharpening, gray areas of civic politics, and anything you’ve been wondering about in the subject areas of canvassing, volunteer dynamics and constituency engagement. 

Participants will walk away with:

• An expanded skill set for civically-engaged conversations

• Guidance on how to ground yourself at the intersection of your beliefs with the various lived experiences of the communities in which you serve

• A sense of strategic connection of the different levels within a large activism group structure, and how each subgroup contributes to collective success.

Join us from 1-4pm for an insightful and interactive afternoon, including a delicious catered lunch. Dive into Lexi’s valuable training session and wrap up the day with an engaging group discussion during the last hour.
