NC Republican Senator Phil Berger lost to his primary challenger in March 2026 by 23 votes.
NC Republican Representative Tricia Cotham defeated Nicole Sidman by 216 votes in 2024.
NC State Senator Woodson Bradley defeated Republican Stacie McGinn by 209 votes in 2024.
NC Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs defeated Republican Jefferson Griffin by 734 votes in 2024.
Justice Riggs’ election was challenged in the courts for months. The Trump administration is already signalling their intent to interfere in the November 2026 elections, because they know Republicans cannot win in fair and free elections.
What can we do? We can be sure to vote, and encourage our friends and family to vote. But we need to encourage dem-leaning reluctant voters to engage in the electoral process by listening to their concerns. We furnish them with truthful, accurate information to inform their voting. We go to pre-selected dem-friendly households who have a history of not voting regularly. They often admit they have become disillusioned with voting and politics. We strive to convince them their vote does matter. They really do have power!
Can we count on you? Training is provided, and new canvassers are paired with experienced canvassers. You do not have to live in these areas to canvass with us. Success in these elections will help us meet our long-term goals of returning to fair election maps in North Carolina.
