No Kings: Vote Early

RECLAIMING OUR POWER

Families across the country are struggling to afford groceries, gas, electric bills, and the everyday cost of getting by. The decisions made by those in power shape our lives, our communities, and our future. No Kings: Vote Early is the next step of reclaiming our power after a year of mass mobilizations. It's a day of nonpartisan voter participation, being in community with each other, and making sure every eligible voter has a plan, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Indivisible Charlotte and its organizing partners are planning events across the Charlotte area. These will include mass get out the vote efforts, strolls to the polls, pop up visibility events, voter education and engagement opportunities at each location. There will not be a mass march or a single large event.

Once these events are finalized, they will be listed on our NoKingsCLT.com website. Please join one or more of these public No Kings: Vote Early events.

WANT TO DO MORE?

You can create your own private event. Are you part of a book club, pickleball team, faith organization, run club, gamer group, or any other social network? This is YOUR time to create an event that ensures that everyone votes early.

Be creative! Meet at an early voting site, vote and go out for coffee/ice cream. Host a backyard party to encourage neighbors to vote. Families with kids? Pull out the red, white, and blue swag, dress up and have a mini-parade to the polling place - from the far end of the parking lot to the door! Here’s a list of creative ideas for inspiration.
