We don't know what may come next but we are as prepared as possible to defend the results from those who would disenfranchise the voters of NC.
Here is the plan for now:
November 10th - Join us at Pearl Park (just across the street from the Mecklenburg Board of Elections) to celebrate the beginning of the county certification process. We will have a link to share soon with more details.
November 24th - Save the date for a rally in Raleigh on the day of the state certification. ICLT will be helping to organize caravans and carpools for those interested in attending. More information to come as those plans come together!
IF there is a significant disruption in the vote counting or some other issue that affects certification, stay alert for rapid response requests from ICLT and the coalition of organizations who are monitoring the results with us. If a major mobilization is needed, we plan to meet at First Ward Park, 5:00 PM immediately following the request. Watch for additional information on our website and social media pages.
I understand that there is much anxiety over the potential for the election results to be disregarded. We like to remind you that the cure for that anxiety is action! You can continue the work on curing ballots through November 10th with phonebanks by both VoPro Pros and with the Carolina Federation. Every ballot cured is a ballot saved!
