On Thursday, July 17, communities and neighbors across Charlotte will come together to honor the legacy of Congressman John Lewis on the five-year anniversary of his passing with a day of "Good Trouble" in the form of neighborhood-based demonstrations and a midday press conference.
Organized by Indivisible CLT's Visibility CLT and local volunteers and partner organizations, this day of action will include multiple Good Trouble Pop-Up Protests across the city throughout the day, uplifting John Lewis' call to stand up, speak out, and make "necessary trouble" in the fight for justice and equality. Whether you join one of our coordinated locations or hold a sign on your own corner, all are welcome to participate.
