WHAT: Charlotte is hosting its annual MLK Jr Parade with over 100 participating organizations. This will be our first year marching in the parade, and we want you to join us!

WHERE: The parade will march down Tryon Street, beginning at 9th Street, and ending at Brooklyn Village Avenue (~.80 miles). We will be assigned a specific position in the parade about 1 week beforehand and will communicate a location to meet up once that’s received.

WHEN: Saturday, January 17. Please arrive by 9:00 AM. The parade will kick off at 9:30 AM.

BRING: Signs supporting MLK Day or our usual protest topics, noise makers, and American flags. *Please avoid hate symbols and profane language – it is a family-friendly parade.*

ATTIRE: Please wear your Indivisible t-shirt, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
